The Hubbell RU170WTLS is a hardwired power box system that mounts underneath your cabinet with triple 15 amp white rocker switches. The box is white, and the outlet is white. Now you can hide your switches under the cabinet to create the cleanest look possible. Use the switches to control current to devices such as lights, fixtures, or even a garbage disposal.
Easy to Use Slim Profile Angled Switch Strip
The box installs at an angle under your cabinet making it simple to switch on and off lights under the cabinet. The box can be installed horizontally under the cabinet so it is not seen, or vertically for even easier access to the outlets. The box is 5.6" long, 3.39" deep, and only 1.63" thick. This is the the slim version box, and slim switch, making it the thinnest profile product to mount a switch under a cabinet. The box takes up zero space inside the cabinet.
Use to Control Multiple Devices From One Box
The switches are rated for 15 Amps, each switch is a single pole switch capable of turning on or off one device per switch. The switch is quiet rated so it will not make a distracting noise when being switched. The white outlet blends in well to the box for a clean look under the cabinet. The outlet is a standard decora outlet, so if needed, the outlet can easily be replaced should your requirements change in the future.
Quick Installation
Feed your wire through one of the 6 knockouts in the box. There are 2 on the back, 2 on the bottom, and 1 on each side. Wire up the switch, and install the switch in the box. Use the included template to drill the holes through the cabinet, and then use the included screws to mount the switch box to the underside of the cabinet. Alternatively the box can be wall mounted if desired.
NEC and UL Approved for Kitchens
The box is UL E31999 listed for USA installations, and cUL and CSA approved for Canada installations. The switch is also cUL and CSA approved so it will comply with NEC kitchen code.
Under cabinet switches are a reliable and affordable solution to eliminate switches in your wall, and create a super clean and modern look in your kitchen. The under cabinet switch system includes the box and switch.
